COVID-19 SAFETY PLAN
Covid-19 Safety Plan
Premises: 11 Millwood Av, Narellan
15 Blaxland Road, Campbelltown
These measures have been put in place with the support of Julie Bates from the Urban Realists Planning and Heath Consultants and reflect the checklists for sex services premises produced in consultation with the Ministry of Health, industry operators and representative bodies to ensure our venues are Covid Safe establishments.
To reduce the risk of Covid-19 in our establishments we will be implementing the following procedures.
Conditions of entry with appropriate signage is to be placed at the entrance to our premises and in all social media/advertising detailing the requirements for entry. Additional Covid-19 signage will be placed at strategic locations throughout the building including the reception area, client waiting rooms, service room and personnel private facilities.
On arrival to our premises, all clients, staff, service providers and other visitors will have their temperature taken. Anyone with a temperature of 38 or above and or any cough, cold or flu symptoms, or recent overseas travel will be asked to leave and get tested.
Upon entering the building everyone will be made aware of the need to use hand sanitiser provided in the reception area and will be advised via signage of the availability of masks that can be provided on request. Hand sanitiser stations will be located at strategic locations throughout the building.
For contact tracing purposes, everyone who enters the building will be required to write their name, phone number, date of entry on individual log in slips which will be stored confidentially for 28 days and then destroyed.
Client waiting areas. All seating will comply with physical distancing of 1.5 meters and as much as possible we will limit client waiting rooms to 1 client per room.
No gathering on or surrounding area of the venue is allowed. As part of the premise’s security plan, CCTV cameras monitor the entrance to avoid such events occurring.
Cash payment. If the client wishes to pay cash, reception will ask the client to place the money in a container provided and reception will wash or sanetise their hands after handling the cash or they can wear gloves to handle the money if they wish to.
Service providers will introduce themselves one at a time. They will keep a 1.5-meter distance while doing this. No handshaking or other touching is allowed in the intro rooms and service providers will be equipped to answer any questions clients have about the premises COVID-19 safety plan and how that might impact the services provided.
Once the client has selected the service provider of their choice, they will be taken straight into the allocated service room of the service provider where the usual STI health check will be performed. The service providers will wear gloves and a mask if they choose to, to perform the heath check before asking the client to shower. All clothes and shoes will be placed in baskets provided.
Personal hygiene. At the direction of the service providers, all clients will be asked to shower before and after service. All clothing will be stored in containers that can easily be cleaned after use. Service providers will attend to their own personal COVID safe hygiene requirements including showring on entrance and after each occasion of service. They will also be required to tie their hair back to avoid contact with clients.
Service provision. Once the client has showered, the service will commence. During the service, where possible face to face contact will be kept to a minimum. No kissing will be provided by the service providers and we ask that our clients respect this essential part of our safety plan including limiting close face to face contact and abide by the service providers request when asked to move away from their face. Any oral sex performed on the service providers will be performed with a dental dam. Doubles and group bookings are temporarily prohibited.
Supervision of clients. At the conclusion of the service clients will be reminded to have another shower and will be walked to the front door when they are ready to go.
Once the client has left, the service providers will clean all surfaces in the room with an antibacterial cleaner while wearing gloves. All linen will be changed and washed in hot water with bleach. The room will be sprayed with an antibacterial sanitiser once the room has been cleaned. Any toys or other objects used during the service will also be cleaned with antibacterial soap and hot water.
The receptionists will be responsible for the cleaning of common touched areas including intro rooms, ATM, door handles, vending machine, sanitary facilities in communal areas, stair railings and all communal areas. Service providers will be required to clean the kitchen/surfaces after use.
Sanitary facilities. All handbasins will be fully stocked with antibacterial soap and paper towels and all rubbish bins in service rooms, reception area, personnel private facilities and sanitary facilities will be equipped with bin liners.
Use of drink and food containers and other products. Disposable cups, plates and eating utensils will be provided. We ask that everyone within the venue to cease the sharing of cups, water bottles, phones, and any other personal items.
Safe Sex and COVID-19 safe products. As well as free condoms and lube provided in individual sachets and given directly to the service providers, dental dams and face masks will be provided free of charge if requested. Disposable gloves will be provided in all rooms as part of the cleaning process along with cleaning products. We will ensure the venue has constant air flow and air conditioning units are regularly serviced.
Any staff or service providers that call in sick must get a doctors certificate, clearing them to work before returning to work.
